Play

691726How does a nineteen year old react to a life changing injury?  One that leaves you a triplegic (with the use of only one arm)?  How does one keep a positive, enthusiastic attitude while living life with so many physical limitations?

Gilbert Howe shares his fascinating story of how so much more of his mind and personality were able to emerge following his accident, how carrying Christians lovingly shared Jesus with him and how that changed everything for him.

Just listening to Gilbert with his enthusiasm for life and for the Lord is infectious!

Thanks for letting us meet Gilbert Howe, David! You are going to be working with some wonderful people of faith. A special thanks to Gilbert for sharing his faith and his wonderful outlook on his situation. We all have situations in our life that are difficult to handle, and, as Gilbert shows, a positive attitude can make the situation so much more tolerable. God does work in our lives and does take care of our needs. Thank you for the reminder!

    • David says:

You’re absolutely right Denise. Gilbert is a great source of encouragement and reminder that we don’t have to let circumstances define us, we can (and should) decide what our outlook and approach is going to be no matter what the circumstances.
